Day 1 - Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park - Mataranka Thermal Pools
You will be collected from your Darwin accommodation at approximately 6.00am and then our adventure through the ‘Territory’ to Alice Springs begins. The afternoon is spent at Nitmiluk (Katherine Gorge) National Park which is owned by the Jawoyn Aboriginal people. Ancient sandstone has been carved away by the Katherine River to create a deep and picturesque gorge. You may like to take a boat cruise or paddle a canoe (seasonal) through the peaceful water (both optional and additional cost) before retiring tour campsite nearby.

(Lunch, Dinner)

Day 2 -  Mataranka Thermal Pools - Daly Waters Pub - Banka Banka Cattle Station
A great start to the day, is a soak in the Mataranka Thermal Pools, a lush oasis fringed by paperbark trees. No trip to the ‘Territory’ is complete without a visit to the Daly Waters Pub, an important watering hole for explorers and drovers in days gone by and now a great spot for a cold beer, a bit of history and a ‘fair dinkum outback experience’! Our day winds to a close at historic Banka Banka Cattle Station where we camp for the night.

(Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)

Day 3 - Devils Marbles (Karlu Karlu) - Tropic of Capricorn
We pass through Tennant Creek and then further along the track are the Devils Marbles (Karlu Karlu) which are a collection of gigantic granite boulders magically balanced on top of one another. Later in the day we cross the Tropic of Capricorn (only 20% of the Northern Territory lays south of this point) then a short time later we arrive into Alice Springs.

"I traveled on a 3 day Kakadu & Litchfield tour in September 2015. The tour was great...the guide was extremely knowledgable and we were able to see some amazing sites including Jim Jim Falls! The camping facilities were comfortable, and everyone on the tour had a good time. The agents at Travel Freedom were able to help me with my questions, payment was easy, and confirmed shortly after. I would recommend them to anyone looking to book tours in Australia."

Demi Thompson (UK)

"I booked the 1 Day Litchfield & Jumping Crocs tour with Travel Freedom and it was a crazy amazing day! The crocs jump right out in front of you, and then waterfalls in Litchfield were great to swim in on a hot day! Thanks to Travel Freedom for the easy booking service and cheap price. I recommend them to anyone wanting to book tours and accommodation in Darwin!"

Trude Maman (DK)

"Thanks for your organising our trip to Katherine Gorge, it was a fantastic experience and we thoroughly enjoyed it, and the tour operator was very professional, as was everyone that was involved in the various locations that we went to.

We will contact Freedom Travel when we are looking for our next adventure.

Peter Martin (AUS)

"We loved our two days in Kakadu. Loved opportunities to enjoy waterholes, spectacular views, landforms, rocks, trees, birds, unfortunately, no crocodiles! Tom our guide was generous with his time, effort and knowledge. Thanks to him we had an enjoyable time and learned much about Aboriginal art and history and about the environment
of Kakadu. We loved sleeping under the stars! "
